Description: Each Otucid liquid-filled softgel capsule contains (Omega-3 fatty Acid 1000 mg) Omega-3 as alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which is required to maintain healthy cardiovascular function.
Indication & Usages: Coronary Heart disease, Atherosclerosis, Hyperlipidaemia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Dry, Rough & Scaly Skin. Otucid is indicated as an adjunct diet to reduce very high (>500mg/dl) triglyceride(TG) levels in adult. patients. Omega-3 is crucial part of human cell membranes. It also have a number of other important functions, including: Improving heart health: Otucid (Omega-3) fatty acid can increase “good” HDL cholesterol. Otucid (Omega-3) can also reduce triglycerides, blood pressure and the formation of arterial plaques.
Dosage Guideline (Suggested use): Take 1-2 capsules with meal or as directed by the reg. physician. For non-adults, requires physician advice.
Contraindication: Otucid is contraindicated in patients who exhibit hypersensitivity to any component of this medication.
Precautions Otucid therapy should be withdrawn in patients who do not have adequate response after two month of treatment. Otucid should be used with caution in patients with known sensitivity or allergy to fish. Patients should be advised that use or lipid-regulating agent does not reduce the importance of adhering to diet.
